Overview

Awnings function to beautify your home while simultaneously providing shade. Normally the awnings are covered with an acrylic awning fabric as explained on the Outdoor Fabrics Page.

Pipe Frame Awnings

Pipe frame awnings shown on this bay window are covered in a Sunbrella Acrylic. These pipe frames can be shipped in a smaller box and assembled on site, where they are fairly easy to install.

They have the relaxed look of older fashioned awnings and yet, as you can see, look quite nice.

Rigid Frame Awnings

Rigid frame awnings have a welded metal frame and must be shipped by truck. There are a number of different styles as defined below. All of these awnings shown are covered in a Sunbrella Acrylic. For more examples of awnings, check out customcovers4you.com.

Traditional Awnings

The awning pictured is a traditional style awning with what we call a straight 'hard valance' in front. The frame is covered in a red Sunbrella acrylic fabric. These awnings add a touch of elegant color to an otherwise light toned house. They can be made in an endless variety of custom fabric colors, custom shapes and sizes. Quarter Barrel Awnings

The awnings pictured here are Quarter Barrel style awnings with valances. These awnings help shade the interior while adding a nice compliment to the brickwork. Dome Awnings

The awning pictured is an entrance dome style awning. This awning helps to shade the interior as well as keep the entrance dry. It adds a simple touch of subtle color to the house. The domes can be made in an endless variety of custom fabric colors, custom shapes and sizes. A valance can also be added as a decorative feature. The valance style can be straight or scalloped. The domes work well for certain windows where no other window covering quite does the job.
Dome awnings cost a bit more than others, but really can accent the home properly when the house design calls for it.

Elongated Dome Awnings

The awning pictured is an elongated dome on a bay window. It is trimmed out with a valance, adding a nice compliment to the brickwork. They can be made in an endless variety of custom fabric colors, custom shapes and sizes.

Canopy Awnings

- Do you want shade, and are not worried about rain? Choose a shadecloth.
- Do you want a waterproof cover? Choose a solid fabric - Acrylic, Marine Polyester or a Tent

- Then decide whether you care about color, economy, or both.

Retractable Awnings
